TRIAL in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the “Forgotten children of war” Association, organized a round table for women civilian victims of war. The main topic of the discussion led by Lamija Tiro was “War crimes – the right to justice and reparations in criminal proceedings.”

Amina Hujdur – TRIAL International and Ajna Jusić – president of the “Forgotten children of war” Association addressed the audience, followed by a panel discussion on seeking justice through criminal proceedings.

Tanja Tankosić Girt, psychologist and psychotherapist, emphasized the importance of psychological support during the process of seeking justice. After the “Winner” video was shown, Semka Agić, a member of the “Naš Glas” Association, told her personal story about shifting the burden from the victim to the perpetrator, which she managed to do in the end.
