Association for psycho-social support and a better future “Progres” from Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Foundation “Wings of Hope” from Germany, and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, implemented the project “Trauma-oriented peace work in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

The project included two educational programs in the field of work on trauma, intended for two groups of direct users. The first group is intended for professionals from the field of education and supporting professions (teachers, professors, social workers, pedagogues, psychologists, and the second, intended for young people, youth organizations and organizations that work with young people.

The goal of the project was to develop and sensitize the public in relation to the existence and consequences of collective, individual and transgenerational trauma, in all groups that make up society.

Thanks to this cooperation, we met wonderful young people who expressed their willingness to build a future of empathy and mutual understanding and acceptance. With its innovative approaches, the Association Progres will certainly provide a more solidary and safer Bosnia and Herzegovina for all of us and our future generations.
