The association “Forgotten children of war” organized an interactive workshop on the topic “Online violence against women” in September 2021 in Sarajevo, which was led by activist and feminist Denija Hidić.

The online space is the new front line for violence against women and girls, and it has increased exponentially during the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine. Online violence is the epicenter of risk, and it combines several forms of violence against women and girls, including human trafficking. How to recognize violence, how to protect yourself, and who to turn to are just some of the topics we discussed at the workshop.
