On the occasion of the 26th edition of the #MemoryModul program organized as part of the MESS festival, Cultura i Conflicte in cooperation with the Association “Forgotten children of war”, the Association of Women Victims of War and the Foundation of Local Democracy, a joint project entitled “As if someone is still in the forest” was presented. .

In the past year, at the Sarajevo National Theater we had the opportunity to watch the play “There’s still someone in the woods – Kao da neko je still u šumi” produced by our friends and partners from Catalonia, Cultura i Conflicte.

“There is still someone in the woods” is made entirely of real testimonies, a kind of autofiction in which real people appear before us protected only by the actor’s body, a movie screen or an exhibition screen. The testimonies were adapted into text by dramatist Anna Maria Ricart Codina, and the play was directed by Joan Arqué Solà. The cast is led by Ariadna Gil, Montse Esteve, Òscar Muñoz, Magda Puig, Judit Farrés, Pep Pascual and Erol Ileri. The author of the photos is Oriol Casanovas Puigjané.

After Sarajevo, the exhibition, play and film were presented at the Zagreb Youth Theater in, then in Ljubljana, and in Loret de Mar. Loret de Mar is just one of the provinces where the artistic trio was shown.
