The Association Forgotten Children of War (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Alpha Group (Austria) invite actors and performers (m/f/x) with strong physical abilities and developed improvisation skills to apply for the reconstruction of the performance “IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER”.
This documentary dance-theatre production, directed by Darrel Toulon, is based on movement and the personal biographies of the performers. The performance explores encounters with the life stories of children born as a consequence of war.
Originally premiered in 2019 at the National Theatre of Tuzla, the production was created with the original cast and in collaboration with children born of war. This open call marks the beginning of a new reconstructed phase of the performance.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Age: up to 28 years
- Skills: strong physical expression and improvisation abilities
- Additional assets: musical skills (singing and/or playing an instrument)
- Audition task: prepare a short monologue or scene (maximum 2 minutes)
AUDITION DATES AND LOCATIONS
Auditions will be held over two days at each location.
The first day is an open audition, while the second day is reserved for candidates selected for the call-back.
