In the premises of the French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, President Ajna Jusić was presented with the Franco-German award for human rights and the rule of law in front of the “Forgotten Children of War” Association. The Ambassador of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christine Toudic, together with the Ambassador of Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Margret Uebber, presented President Ajna Jusić with an award for her continuous struggle for the rights of children born as a result of war and the rights of women who survived wartime sexual violence. Since 2016, on the occasion of Human Rights Day, Germany and France jointly award the Franco-German Prize for Human Rights and the Rule of Law. Whether they are defenders of human rights, journalists or lawyers: this award recognizes the efforts of all those who work tirelessly every day to improve human rights and the rule of law.
